A small lambswool blanket with a fringed edge and a rust horse pattern, sized for a crib or a pram and destined to become the blanket.
Lambswool comes from a lamb's first shearing, which makes the fibres smoother and springier than any other wool. The crimp in each strand traps air, so it holds warmth without overheating, and it stays breathable. A proper new baby present, the sort that gets kept long after the pram has gone.
