The Satin Pothos (Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus') is an easy going trailing vine with gorgeous, velvety, deep green leaves dusted in shimmering silver, giving each heart shaped leaf a soft, satin sheen. It is as beautiful as it is forgiving.
Let it trail from a shelf or hanging pot, or train it up a moss pole for larger leaves. It tolerates shade better than most, making it a brilliant, adaptable choice for trickier spots.
Care at a glance
Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the silver markings strong, though it tolerates lower light.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost dry out. It would rather be a touch dry than soggy.
Humidity: Happy in average rooms, lusher in higher humidity.
Support: Trails happily, or climbs a moss pole for larger leaves.
Note: Best kept away from curious pets, as it can irritate if chewed.
