The Pink Rubber Plant (Ficus elastica 'Belize') is a striking, variegated tropical known for its large, glossy, oval leaves in dramatic tones of pink, cream and deep green, with the newest growth blushing the most vivid pink of all. A real statement plant, it brings bold colour and lush, architectural presence to a room.
Give it a bright spot to keep the variegation vivid and it will reward you with beautiful new growth. This is a large, mature specimen, available for collection from our E17 shop.
Care at a glance
Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the pink tones strong. Avoid harsh direct sun.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry. It prefers to be a touch dry than overwatered, and dropping leaves can signal too much water.
Humidity: Enjoys average to higher humidity and the occasional leaf wipe to keep it glossy.
Note: The milky sap can irritate, so best kept away from curious pets and handled with care.
