The Xerographica (Tillandsia xerographica) is the king of air plants, a striking, sculptural epiphyte with broad, silvery grey leaves that curl and ribbon outwards into a beautiful rosette. Native to the dry forests of Central America, it grows without soil, drawing moisture and nutrients in through its leaves.
Display it in a bowl, on a shelf, mounted on wood or simply resting in a bright spot, where its architectural form can really shine. Undemanding and long lived, it is a wonderful, low fuss plant.
Care at a glance
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: No soil needed. Mist well a couple of times a week, or soak in water for 20 to 30 minutes every week or two, then shake out and let it dry fully upside down.
Humidity: Enjoys average to higher humidity.
Note: Non toxic and considered pet friendly.
