Scindapsus Treubii 'Dark' Form
12Ø 20cm
Scindapsus treubii ‘Dark Form’—often called “Treubii Dark” or “Nearly Black”—is a sleek, slow-growing aroid known for its deep, velvety foliage. It’s low-maintenance, adaptable, and thrives in typical indoor conditions, making it a great choice for collectors or anyone wanting a striking, moody plant.
Native: Southeast Asia
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, which encourages the richest dark colouration. Can tolerate medium to lower light, but growth will slow, and leaves may become smaller. Avoid direct sun; it can fade the deep colour or scorch the foliage.
Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering again. Water thoroughly until it drains, then empty any excess from the saucer. In winter or low-light seasons, reduce watering frequency.
Ideal temperature range: 65–85°F (18–29°C).
Prefers moderate humidity (40–60%) for smoother, larger leaves.
