Chilli Vinegar Dressing, Poon's London | The Every Space
A little bottle that punches well above its weight. This dressing was created for the wontons at Poon's own Wontoneria restaurant before being bottled by popular demand, a twist on Shanghainese red oil wonton sauce that balances black vinegar's sharpness against proper chilli heat, with soy and a touch of sweetness rounding it all out.
Drizzle it over dumplings, noodles, poached chicken or roasted vegetables, or stir a spoonful into mayonnaise or peanut butter for an instant dressing with real character. Made by the Poon family, whose restaurant produced the first Chinese chef to win a Michelin star in the UK. A lovely gift for anyone who cooks Asian food at home.
