Thick, cosy socks from Catherine Tough in a chunky rib, knitted from a soft blend of silk, recycled lambswool and EcoVero viscose. The flecked burgundy yarn is set off by bright blue heels and toes, which gives them a look you will recognise straight away.

They are heavyweight and wonderfully soft, ideal for padding around the house on a cold morning, and just as good in boots or with clogs and sandals. The loose, elasticated rib can be worn pulled up or folded over for a gentle hold, and they keep their shape and texture wash after wash. They come wrapped in a card band with no plastic, so they are ready to give.

15% silk, 30% recycled lambswool, 30% EcoVero viscose, 25% recycled polyamide. Unisex. 

Medium fits UK 4 to 7 (EU 37 to 41), 25cm tall pulled up or 20cm folded.

Large fits UK 8 to 11 (EU 42 to 46), 27cm tall pulled up or 24cm folded.

Hand wash at 30°C with a delicate detergent; dry flat.

Can also be dry cleaned.
