A painterly still life of a feast in full swing: tall pink taper candles tied with ribbon bows beside a blue and white vase of daisies and hydrangeas. Bold, maximalist and a little camp, it belongs above the table where the real dinner parties happen.

Lindsey Cherek paints vivid, symbol filled scenes of everyday life through a joyful, queer lens, imagining the warm, community focused world she wants to live in.
