Origin: The rainforests of South America and the Caribbean. Anthuriums are epiphytes and grow in the crevices of trees.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry.
Light: Anthurium requires plenty of bright, indirect light. Keep out of direct sunshine
Humidity: Use a water mister or place it in a warm kitchen or bathroom.
Temperature: 15-20°C
Repotting: Plant in houseplant or orchid compost, with the root ball just above the soil surface. Repot when the roots fill the pot.
Reflowering: Feed with a weak, high-potash feed (such as tomato food) in spring and summer. Remove faded blooms.
