The Anthurium 'Silver Blush' (Anthurium crystallinum) is a collector's favourite, grown for its large, heart shaped, velvety leaves laced with luminous silver white veining. Each new leaf unfurls in soft pink or rose, the blush that gives it its name, before deepening to rich, velvety green as it matures.

A true statement plant, it looks spectacular where its dramatic foliage can be admired up close, on a shelf, plant stand or in a bright bathroom. It rewards warmth and humidity with steady, beautiful new growth.

Care at a glance

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate leaves.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of the mix begin to dry, keeping it lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Humidity: Loves high humidity, ideally 60 percent or more. Happy in a bathroom, kitchen or with a humidifier.
Warmth: Enjoys warm, stable temperatures between 18 and 27C. Keep it above 15C and away from cold draughts.
