The Iresine Herbstii Red has heart-shaped leaves from deep burgundy to crimson - which is where it gets its common name of 'Blood Leaf'. The leaves also have veins in a contrasting bright pink or red, making it a really striking plant. Typically grows to a height of 30-45 cms.
Origin: Brazil
Likes: Bright spots but not full sun
Water: When the top inch of soil is dry to the touch. Loves a warm, humid spot
