A large lambswool blanket in a rose craft check, fringed at both ends. The check is drawn loosely enough to feel handmade rather than formal, and the colour sits somewhere between dusty pink and clay.

Lambswool is taken from a lamb's first shearing, which gives smoother, springier fibres than any later clip. The crimp in each strand holds pockets of air, so the blanket is warm without weight.
