A papier mache bauble hand painted with the Libra scales, from an original design by the Devon artist Fiona Balfour, whose work draws on a lifelong love of Greek mythology and folklore. The zodiac symbols go back to Babylonian astrology, which makes them older than almost anything else you will hang on a tree.

Made from recycled paper and painted by hand, so the colours sit softly rather than shining. An easy gift for a Libra, and one that stays up long after the tree comes down.
