Warm little hands, and no more lost mittens. These Catherine Tough mittens for toddlers are soft 100% merino lambswool, joined by a long string that goes through the sleeves of a coat, so they stay with the child instead of ending up on the bus. They are unisex, so they suit girls and boys alike.

Choose from three colours: a spearmint green and peach check, a pink and light blue stripe, or a blue and green stripe. The string is long enough to tie in a knot at the right length for your child. The knit is light but cosy, so they work for frosty park mornings, beach walks and playground days. They were designed in Catherine's East London studio and knitted in a traditional Scottish mill.

• 100% Merino lambswool.

• Each mitten approx 13cm long and 7cm wide (5" by 3"). String approx 100cm (39"), and can be tied in a knot to the right length. Feed the string through the arms of the coat.

Care: hand wash at no higher than 30°C using a delicate detergent and fabric conditioner. Spin, dry flat and steam iron to finish. Can also be dry cleaned.
