Some olives demand fingers. Others deserve a proper pick. These slim little cocktail sticks from Olives Et Al are made from natural bamboo, with a neat detail at the top, and they make light work of olives, stuffed peppers and other small savoury things.

Keep a tub beside the drinks trolley, or bring them out with an antipasti platter when friends arrive. With 250 in each tub, there are enough for many evenings of drinks and something salty, and they make a handy little extra in a foodie hamper alongside a jar of olives or Feta Stuffed Pepperabica Peppers.
