The Spike Moss, Selaginella uncinata 'Peacock', features shimmering turquoise and green leaves with sharp tips that resemble peacock feathers. Its vibrant colours shift with the light, showing more blue in brighter conditions. This moisture-loving plant flourishes in humid environments like closed terrariums or shaded spots in your garden.
Native: Southern China
Light: Semi-shade to bright, indirect light, out of the hot sun.
Water: Maintain consistently moist soil. Take care not to soak the foliage, as this can lead to the plant rotting.
Humidity: This plant loves high-humidity environments. They grow well in closed terrariums.
Temperature: Min 15º C. If plants are grown outdoors, they require relocation indoors below this temperature.
Nutrients: Refresh the soil or repot once every year. Doesn't require additional nutrients
