A ceramic Christmas stocking for the tree, hand cut and hand decorated at a Berkshire studio and finished with a small bell, matching beads and a festive ribbon to hang it by. It is decorated on both sides, with dots and circles on the reverse, so it looks right whichever way it turns on the branch.

Approximately 9 cm tall, 6 cm wide and 4 mm thick. Made by hand in small numbers, so the painting shifts gently from one to the next, and it packs away to come out again every year.
