Terrarium Workshop | Tuesday 15th September 2026
The Every Space
Spend an evening building your own little world in a jar. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop at our Walthamstow shop, you'll plant up a closed terrarium, a self-sustaining miniature garden that you'll take home and watch grow.
No experience needed, and nothing to bring but yourself. We'll start with a bit of the how and why: how a closed terrarium becomes its own tiny ecosystem, and how to keep it thriving. Then you'll get your hands in the soil and build your own, layer by layer, with us on hand to guide you the whole way.
You'll choose from a selection of small tropical plants and mosses, and finish your terrarium with bark, stones and other natural details until it feels like yours. By the end of the evening, you'll leave with a planted terrarium, a care guide, and the know-how to keep it happy.
It's a lovely thing to do with a friend or partner, a different kind of date or catch-up, and it makes a really thoughtful gift; for a plant lover, for someone hard to buy for, or as a treat for yourself.
