Trailing Jade (Peperomia rotundifolia) is a dainty, low growing, semi succulent with masses of tiny, round, button like leaves threaded along fine trailing stems. In the wild it creeps across the forest floor and scrambles up trees, and indoors it spills beautifully over the edge of a pot or hanging planter.
Delicate but easy going, it brings soft, fresh green texture to a shelf or hanging spot. As a bonus, it is non toxic and one of the more pet friendly houseplants.
Care at a glance
Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost dry out. Its semi succulent leaves store water, so it dislikes sitting wet.
Humidity: Happy in average rooms, and enjoys a little extra humidity.
Note: Non toxic and considered pet friendly.
