Founded in Olhão, a bustling fishing port on Portugal's Algarve coast, the name 'cubista' comes from the unusual whitewashed and tiled cubist style of buildings found in the alleys and streets of the old town. Casa Cubista started with the idea to share all of the things they design and discover in Portugal with friends around the world. All Casa Cubista items are handmade to order. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the pieces.
