Philodendron White Wave, aka. Philodendron Birkin has distinctive striped variegation, which appears when the plant is young, but fades as the leaves mature.

This Philodendron is a hybrid (meaning it doesn't exist in the wild). It has been cultivated for the white pinstriped variegation on its deep green, pointed oval leaves.

Unlike most other Philodendrons, this is a compact, non-climbing specimen which makes it ideal for desks, shelves, and smaller interiors.

Origin: Hybrid (but Philodendrons are native to South America)

Likes: Bright spots but not full sun

Water:  Water regularly in spring and summer to avoid drying out but reduce in autumn/winter and allow the soil to dry out about 3cm from the top before watering. Likes humidity and may need misting in winter.

Caution: Toxic to humans and pets
